At Mas de Pellejo, depending on the season of the year, nature surprises us with the diversity and spectacular nature of its flora and fauna, colors and sounds burst in the forests, fields and paths, and offer us a sight of life that awakens senses.
aromatic HERBS, wild flowers and seeds
In spring, the countryside is filled with colors and scents thanks to the daffodils and wild orchids, aromatic herbs such as rosemary, thyme, sage, rockrose, hypericum, etc. that we collect at the right time to make essential oils, hydrolates (floral waters) or original natural or dried flower centerpieces.
In addition, once the season is over you can collect their seeds, take them home and sow them to enjoy a little piece of Mas de Pellejo on your terrace or garden next spring.
COLLECTION OF FOREST FRUITS
If you decide to wander along our paths, ask us for a basket before leaving and take the opportunity to collect the fruits that nature offers us.
Depending on the season you will find mushrooms, madrones, quince, blackberries, figs, rose hips, asparagus, fennel, sage, rosemary, thyme...
Enjoy trying the different flavours they offer, or bring them to the Masía and we will cook them so that you can taste them later as appetizers or in jams and desserts...

When the cold of winter passes, everything comes back to life, and walking along our paths, or sitting in silence in the surroundings, you will be able to see and hear how the birds (thrush, bee-eater, nightingale...) begin with their songs to conquer their partners, the Bonelli's eagle (Aquila faciata) teaches ist eaglet to fly, the wild boar walks with its young wild boars, and the badger, the fox, the roe deer and countless butterflies and insects walk freely through our farm.
